Cassidy's Moving and Storage
We’re Thrilled to Be Sponsoring Westfest 2018
Cassidy’s is proud to be sponsoring the 15th Annual Westfest, taking place June 8 – June 10 at the Tom Brown Arena and Park in Hintonburg, Ottawa.
What is Westfest?
Westfest is a free music and arts festival. This year the stages will play host to over 30 acts and 100 Canadian artists.
This is a festival that features all that’s great about arts and culture in Canada. It includes:
- An Indigenous pavilion
- Panel discussions
- A family fun zone
- A youth and community stage
- Local artisans
- Food trucks
- Post-festival celebrations
The goal of this festival is to promote the amazing things Canada has to offer by creating a community experience where everyone can participate. Westfest’s values include accessibility, inclusivity, and creating a safer space free of harassment in any way.
The team at Cassidy’s has a great love and appreciation for our community, and knew we had to be a part of this unique event. We’re so excited that it’s finally here!

You don’t drive as many kilometres and pack as many boxes as we do without collecting a tale or two. 2017 was a jam-packed year of adventures, and we’re sharing just a small sample of our moving stories as a salute to the best year yet.
Nick Jones recently got to play golf for the first time in years thanks to the Paragolfer, a machine designed for people with disabilities. Now he plans to start fundraising to bring one to a golf course in the Pembroke area, for everyone to be able to use.
