Cassidy’s favourite employee, Josh “Sparky” Woermke, celebrated 10 years of volunteer service with the Pembroke Fire Department. Chief Dan Herback awarded Josh with the 10 Year Volunteer Service Award.
Herback tells 104.9 Pembroke Today that Josh is an inspiration to the crew at the fire hall. “Whatever function or community event we have or take part in, he always says yes”, says Herback. “He does a very special job every time he’s there.” That’s what he’s known for, his dedication to helping others.
