Cassidy’s In-House St. Joseph’s Food Bank Fundraiser
Barbecue, burgers, prizes; all for a great cause! For our latest Cassidy’s fundraiser, we raised money for St. Joseph’s Food Bank by hosting two barbecues in the summer of 2019.
The St. Joseph’s Food Bank provides food and supplies to families and individuals in need. Since 1986, this Pembroke-based food bank has been a beacon of compassion for the community of Pembroke. At Cassidy’s, we share in that vision. To learn more about St. Joseph’s Food Bank, visit their website and find out how you can contribute to their community.

Download NowOn July 19 and again on August 23, 2019, Cassidy’s organized two successful, in-house fundraising barbecues at our office in Pembroke. With our family-like dynamic, these events were well received by everyone! I mean, who doesn’t like to eat out for lunch for a great cause?
We raised a total of $245, and sent it off to St. Joseph’s. Frank Shilling, a Food Bank representative, came by the office to personally thank Dan and Dale Robinson for our donation. With the money we raised, Frank was able to purchase a lot of food for St. Joseph’s. He said it covered the floor, food was stacked everywhere.
Thanks to Linda Nagora who organized these two fun events as well as Mary Kostopoulas and Gord Goldburg who sold tickets and handled the grill. Thanks to Dan Robinson for giving us the opportunity to run this awesome event. Lastly, thanks go out to all Cassidy staff members, friends and family who participated and donated. They brought their appetite, fun and kindness to make these barbecues a success.
