This letter is to express our gratitude for the very smooth transfer of my mother’s furniture from Ottawa to Victoria. The attention and service provided by Gary Gossling from Cassidy’s was, from the outset, far and away the very best. We felt very well taken care of.

Had a great experience with Cassidy’s. We were moving from a 3-bedroom townhouse for a local move. I really appreciated that 3 guys showed up for the move instead of only 2 that many standard moving companies provide. This helped to facilitate a smoother (and much faster!) move. They were quick, efficient, and professional. You could tell they definitely had a good system. Everything was handled with care and all of our belongings were well-taken care of. On the customer service side, their representative at the office responded to all my email inquiries and questions beforehand to ease any concerns or worries we had. I would most definitely recommend this company for anyone who is moving.

I’ve trusted Cassidy’s to move on 2 occasions and both times the service has been excellent. On both occasions, not only were the movers very professional and courteous, the sales representative (Scott) was extremely helpful and even offered a few packing tips (I did my own). No hesitation to recommend.

Cassidy’s was recommended as an excellent company by a friend. We were sending a partial load including a canoe to our son in B.C. Scott Meyers visited our home and after he gave us an estimate, he was very quick to respond to all my follow-up questions. Because we had a partial load, Cassidy’s gave us a range of possible delivery dates that spanned a 3-week period. As promised the load arrived on the final day of the three week window. However, the canoe was not with the rest of the load. Again, I had speedy responses from Scott and another rep from United Van Lines who followed up on where the canoe was and its ETA. All was well when my son received the canoe on a different load a few weeks later. I would not hesitate to use this company again. I found the speedy responses very reassuring!

Thanks to all involved with the move and especially to the driver for his help at the destination (it had a 3 floor carry up). Everyone was very courteous, accommodating and a sheer pleasure to have around. I arrived in town earlier than expected and had no problem arranging delivery ahead of schedule. Please pass my sincere thanks to all that was involved with this move – I was happy to have it all go so smoothly.

We have had many moves, international and across Canada, so a lot of experience with moving companies. Cassidy’s has moved us twice, including my most recent move back here to Ottawa. Let me say, we have been very impressed with the service provided, from the initial meet and estimate to the pack, the move, and the unload. From the office staff to the movers themselves, they were all very professional and courteous. When my partner and I were moving into our current home, we decided to contact and hire Cassidy’s Moving. We were very happy with that decision. The sales person we spoke and dealt with was very detailed and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer any and all of our questions we had in regards to the process and the actual move. The movers were punctual, professional, and were very efficient. It took no time at all to have everything loaded and moved into our new home. We will definitely be using their services again!

Service and attitude was excellent and specially Brian, the driver. Everything arrived in good shape, no damage on anything.

The moving crew (John and Jason) were experienced and conscientious. We had a lot of confidence that they would take care of the little details, as well as the big ones – and they did. On July 6th a team of your movers delivered and unloaded our household contents that had been shipped back from the U.K. We are sending a message to say that the team was outstanding. By far the best team we have dealt with through several local and international moves. They were personable, industrious, accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. I hope that this praise will reach the right eyes/ears and thank you for sending us such a fine group of your employees for our homecoming!

Scott Myers at Cassidy’s in Ottawa was incredibly helpful throughout the process and very quick to respond to questions. This is the second long-distance move I’ve done with Cassidy’s/United and I’ve been very satisfied with the service at both ends. I may have a relatively minor claim associated with this move and it will be interesting to see how it gets resolved. I look forward to continued good service!

I recall “way back” in 1950 that Cassidy’s picked up our trunks from the CPR station and delivered them to 415 Pembroke St. East (now the Dairy Queen). The charge back then was $1.50 per load.

We were very satisfied with the whole experience and the cost of the move.

VERY IMPRESSED!!! I run a small, personalized Seniors Relocation business and had the need to use a larger moving company for my client. I selected Cassidy’s as they are well known and well respected in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. Their price was very good and their Sales Representative, Scott Myers was more than accommodating and additionally offered a small discount that I wasn’t expecting. My client was impressed (as was I) that they moved all items quickly and with no damage. They took good care of the furniture as if it was theirs and my client had some nice pieces. I have used them since and have no reason not to use them anytime I have the need.

You guys are the best. Today, Kenny and Steve packed up our main floor into a storage pod in only about 1 1/2 hours. Service was excellent. On-time, polite, very professional, treated our stuff with great care, great communications, and ensured we were happy. All this in the pouring rain! Outstanding! Any yet they still smiled a lot. Excellent moving experience!! The folks at Cassidy’s took great care in wrapping and transporting our items. We have a few custom, hand-crafted furniture pieces and they all made it to our new place in perfect condition! All 3 guys who moved our items were courteous and professional. I wanted to let you know that I was very pleased by the service that Cassidy’s provided, in my move from storage, in Kingston, to home drop off in Cobden. I found Jody and Gord, both accommodating and professional – your pricing was fair, and of value – Steve and Jonah did the pick up in Kingston. They were prompt, efficient, professional, and very service-oriented. I appreciate that having to pick up in another mover’s storage location creates an extra dimension to the job, and they handled it well. Steve and Terry did the unload in Cobden, on the following day. It was obvious they knew their stuff and were respectful of each other, and me/my family, and my stuff. They were very service-oriented, professional, amiable, and worked so well together, and work so quickly, the time passed quickly, and work seemed seamless to them. All items were handled very well. -both groups of men, gave me great confidence, that my move had/would go well (not always my experience with moving companies). Extra note for Steve, being at both locations, he took the extra time needed, to address concerns, and take extra steps, to ensure I was pleased, due to errors on the part of the previous mover/storage vendor. He was discreet, and professional, the whole time. I enjoyed my Cassidy experience and will be referring you, whenever I can (PS…my parents used your company 20 years ago, to move from a farmhouse to their current home in Cobden, and still rave about the experience…..they think maybe Steve moved them then too).
